Leopard Geckos were the first lizards to be commercially produced on a large scale for both scientific research and the pet trade. Thousands were produced every year in the North American – United States , Canadian and European markets both for the pet , scientific and garden trades both for pets , scientific purposes and garden trade – both for pets , scientific and pest control in the garden and in landscaping.

The popularity of the leopard gecko as a pet is well deserved. Few lizards or Praying Mantis are as easy to propagate, For the money , a few lizards or Mantis can match the unique beauty of this lizard plus its relatively docile personality.
