Lizards should be kept out of the bathroom, since toothbrushes and other personal hygiene articles could become contaminated. If you provide a perch near a window (be sure it is closed in winter and screened in summer), lizards such as iguanas will spend a good deal of their time basking and watching from such vantage points well off the ground.
